More Adventures with Sid the Dog

Around this time last year I was counting the days until I could pick up my new Jack Russell puppy from the breeder. Now, after spending twelve months together, I’ve got an amazing companion that continually amazes me with his fearless attitude and ability to learn new things in an instant.

In the past year, Sid and I have:

  • Traveled over 15,000 miles by plane (yes, he flies in the cabin with me!)
  • Explored countless trails, mountains and deserts
  • Met hundreds of dog-loving people and their pets
  • Visited a total of 8 states on both coasts
  • Had some great weekends camping under the stars (and even shared a sleeping bag one cold night at Joshua Tree)

Sid the Dog is one well-traveled canine (and well trained, I might add). I look forward to many more adventures with him. Believe it or not, he’s a few weeks away from riding my skateboard solo!

I included a few photos of Sid that I snapped over the past few months…

A Few Fast Facts
In the first image, Sid makes a new friend in Randsburg, CA - an abandoned mining town that had a population as high as 3,500 in 1918.

Sid scurried after a lizard in the last image on the right, which was taken in Sequoia National Forest, where we spent the weekend in a retired fire tower.

Hey Wil–! I love Sid! He can stay with me if you ever get back to NJ! Cuter than Eddie on Fraser for sure. These are very nice images– glad you shared—the site is looking quite good and your portfolio continues to expand–qualitatively as well as quantitatively.

    Warm regards!
    Ann
